On the 29th of April 2012, the Minister of Energy and Water Resources and the Accountant General of the Ministry of Finance signed the concession agreement for the construction of a 30 MW photovoltaic power plant in Ashalim, Israel with Ashalim Sun PV Ltd. Ashalim Sun was selected as the winner of the tender for the project in March 2012.
HFN advised Ashalim Sun PV Ltd., a joint venture owned by Sun Edison and Clal Sun Ltd.
This matter was led by Mark Phillips, joint head of the Project Finance and Energy and Natural Resources departments.
