Profile

Eyal Bar-Zvi is an attorney and an economist, and heads the Transfer Pricing Practice at HFN, the only law firm in Israel that provides full transfer-pricing services. Eyal has more than 10 years of experience in advising MNEs on their local and international intercompany transfer pricing and commercial transactions. As part of his practice, Eyal often advises international companies on a wide range of Israeli corporate, tax and commercial matters.

Additionally, Eyal has a lively general counsel practice in the fields of hi-tech, commercial and corporate law, where he counsels both Israeli companies in different growth stages, and foreign companies entering and contracting in Israel. Eyal has specific experience in counselling German and Austrian companies establishing a presence and negotiating agreements in Israel.

Eyal studied Mathematics and IT, and is an adjunct professor at the Haifa University Faculty of Law, where he teaches a course on Transfer Pricing, often lecturing on the subject in Israel (inter alia to the Israeli CPA Association) and abroad (recently to the Microsoft accelerator in Berlin), as well as a course on Hi-Tech investments.

Eyal speaks Hebrew, English and German.

Eyal is a member of Transfer Pricing Associates, the world's largest network of independent transfer pricing experts, a member of the Israeli Bar Hi-Tech Committee, and the Israeli Advanced Technologies Industries Association. Eyal is also a member of the Haifa University Faculty of Law Alumni Board, and of the German-Israel Legal Association. Eyal is a volunteer with the Unistream Association, which helps Israeli teens from underprivileged areas to realise their potential by teaching them entrepreneurial skills, and counsels (pro bono) the Tel Aviv University's Entrepreneurial Centre.
