As Head of HFN's Hi-Tech Department, Yair's practice concentrates on business law, venture capital and mergers and acquisitions. Yair advises many of Israel’s leading technology companies in a range of industries including fintech, internet & media, e-commerce, cybersecurity, blockchain and crypto-currency and biotech. 

Yair also represents various foreign and Israeli venture capital and private equity funds, strategic investors and buyers with respect to their acquisitions and investments in Israel. Yair counsels Israeli and US companies on all significant business and legal issues facing them, from their initial financings through acquisitions and initial public offerings, as well as general corporate matters. He lives in Tel Aviv and spends a significant part of his time in New York.

Yair is a member of the New York and Israeli bars. Before joining HFN, he practiced in the M&A Group of Gibson Dunn and in the Corporate and M&A Group of Davis Polk. He is ranked as a "Leading Lawyer" by the IFLR and is recognised as a leading practitioner of Hi-Tech M&A by Legal 500. 

Yair frequently speaks on financing and entrepreneurship at tech conferences around the world.
