Hanan Haviv is Head of Hi Tech Sector and is a leading partner in the firm's corporate division.

Hanan has 20 years of experience representing clients in diverse and complex transactions in Israel and Silicon Valley in the United States, including leading large and significant transactions in Israel in this field.

Hanan focuses his work in mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, private investment funds and corporate law and has extensive experience representing local and multinational companies, including Cisco, Apple, Facebook, IBM, Oracle, Abbott, Cadence and McAfee.

Hanan has valuable experience in escorting entrepreneurs and ongoing consulting to start-ups at all stages of their development from their inception stage (and in particular Sisense, Thetaray, Fundbox, Traffilog & Sportority), including guidance on the company's business model, its fundraising strategy, investor relations and crisis support Difficult business decisions pertaining to the company and its shareholders.

In recent years, Hanan has been involved in a significant portion of the acquisition transactions of Israeli companies traded in the United States (Fundtech, Starlims, Voltaire, Aladdin, Ezchip and more). He also has significant experience representing corporate and underwriting public offerings in the United States.

  • Aladdin Knowledge Systems Ltd. in its acquisition by Vector Capital Represented Abbott Laboratories in its acquisition of Starlims Technologies Ltd.
  • Storwize Inc. in its acquisition by IBM Represented XIV Ltd. in its acquisition by IBM. 
  • CopperGate Communications Ltd. in its acquisition by Sigma Design, Inc.
  • Acted as underwriters’ counsel in the initial public offering of Allot Communications Ltd., 012 Smile Communication Ltd. and Starlims Technologies Ltd. and in the subsequent public offering of Gilat Satelite Networks Ltd.
